I am writing this book to share with all Christians the gift of encouragement that God has blessed me with. God has been calling me to write (among other things) since my baptism in October 2003. Holy angels were sent to inspire me to write religious poetry. I have put this collection of poems together to cheer and brighten our hope and future in the Lord. This book is written at the right time: the period of COVID-19 lockdown when the entire world is in chaos and fear. The world is experiencing social isolation (a special shut-in) hiding from sickness and death by the coronavirus.

Encouragement is always good; we all could use some at times. At this special time, it is for all Christians—the practicing Christians, the doubtful Christians, the discouraged Christians, the fearful Christians, the spiritually strong and weak, the persecuted, the prospective, and all other peoples of Christian interest—because they will appreciate this literary art form, which is not popular among us. It is good, fun reading material for linguistics scholars.

The aim of this book is to encourage Christians’ faith, hope, love, and trust in God in these uncertain times.
